Exhibition MEaningful manuals for millennials - GRAPHIC MATTERS 2019

Graphic Matters is an international, biennial festival about graphic design. An extensive programme shows the importance of graphic design and how it impacts our daily lives. This year’s program shows the impact of complex information such as data visualisation, infographics, manuals and cartography on our society.

The exhibition ‘Meaningful Manuals for Millennials’ was part of Graphic Matters 2019, from 20th of September to 27th of October at SBK Breda, The Netherlands.

Masterclass MEaningful manuals for millennials with

Henning Wagenbreth

During this three-day Masterclass at Graphic Matters 12 selected creative professionals – talented illustrators or graphic designers – worked on the theme ‘Meaningful Manuals for Millenials’. This led to manuals for fictional products or odd situations. The manuals were Risoprinted on the spot in a collective magazine in a limited edition. The Masterclass was hosted by Marjolein Schalk of Wobby.club and renowned ‘special guest’ artist/illustrator Henning Wagenbreth.

Special thanks to Riso Benelux for letting us use one of their Risograph printers & Keep an Eye Foundation for making this masterclass possible.
