Thanks for applying to our first Open Call Graduates 2020-2021!

We were impressed by the overall high quality of the work and the very international result by the overwhelming amount of 150 applications. In the end, we have chosen the portfolios in which the message was most sharply and consistently conveyed by the image and use of technique.

New work by the selected participants will be featured in the upcoming Wobbies.

Have you recently graduated from an arts academy or university anywhere in the world? Do you make work that is colourful, figurative, and radically absurd? Or do you write short stories or poems? Do you think our magazine will only be complete with your work in it? Then Wobby wants you!

Wobby is thé risograph quarterly for contemporary illustration, comic, fine art, and literature. Printed in a limited edition of 550 copies, it is distributed worldwide and sold by Printed Matter (New York) and Skylight Books (LA), amongst others. 

We provide you the opportunity to show your work to the worldwide community of illustration, art, and riso lovers. And we will pay a fair fee for it too!

How to apply? Submit your details and a link to your work (Instagram, website, blog or digital portfolio, etc.) in the form below. You can apply until Saturday September 25. 

If selected, we will ask you to create new work for the upcoming issue(s). Detailed specs will follow.
