Wobby #37 - Far From Home
Wobby #37 - Far From Home
While the world witnesses significant geopolitical events impacting millions of people, Wobby #37 delves into the meanings of 'home'. With Wobby's characteristic poetic lightness and powerful color palette, 12 visual artists explore the theme of displacement. What makes a home? Can we return to what it once was? Ukrainian writer Kateryna Babkina wrote the central text. Wobby #37 is co-curated by Pictoric, a Ukrainian illustration collective that has been organising exhibitions, art projects, workshops and lectures with young Ukrainian creators since 2014. Since the large-scale invasion in 2022, the collective has increasingly focused on bringing attention to the war in Ukraine through visual art.
