Wobby WONDErLAND 1 - IncubatE 2016

Wobby.club regularly organises events, for instance zine / artbook fairs. In 2016 we teamed up with Incubate, a cutting edge festival in hometown Tilburg and that’s when Wobby Wonderland was born.

In collaboration with Incubate Wobby.club organised a Zine fest & comic/art/book fair during the weekend of 9, 10, 11 December 2016. We selected a group of artists that presented their self published zines, (comic) books, prints, posters, publications, independent magazines and other (affordable) self designed, do-it-yourself merchandise in small print runs. Including live screenprinting, live drawing and live dj sets bij JaDa. Location was NS16 Tilburg.

Public could meet the makers and discover insipiring artists, publishers and collectives. Drinks and vegetarian / vegan food were catered by Bas and Joanne. In the evening there were talks by the Belgian collective Tieten met Haar, the Belgian comic artist Ward Zwart and the Godfathers of Dutch Risoprint Knust Press.
