WOBBY WORKOUT - IndrE SvirplytE

Wobby Workout is a work period at our studio in NS16, Tilburg, where experiments with the Risograph printer can be carried out, giving rise to new ideas and working methods.

For the second Wobby Workout we invited artist Indrė Svirplytė (LT/BE) who works mainly with illustration and textile media to create colourful and vivid dream worlds. Part of this special Workout was the collaboration with TextielMuseum in Tilburg, where Indrė was able to do a tufting residency.

Go see the work of Indrė Svirplytė (1992, LT/BE) at the exhibition Secrets of making #2 at TextielMuseum in Tilburg from May 21, 2022 until 18 June 2023. During the Wobby Workout, Indrė created new tufting works at the TextielLab.

Indrė’s publication ‘Sun, oh Sun’, which she made at Wobby.club headquarters, was released in May 2021 at Grafik, Brussels. During the Wobby Workout Indrė also made two new Risograph artprints.
