Workshops Festival der Mislukking 2026
What happens when you let go of control?
As part of the first edition of Festival der Mislukking, Wobby hosted Wobby’s Imperfect Risograph Workshop in our own studio at NS16 in Tilburg. The new festival offers a different perspective on creativity, learning and experimentation, encouraging people to try, make mistakes and discover what unexpected outcomes can bring.
Risograph printing is a perfect match for this idea. Small shifts, unexpected colour overlaps and happy accidents are an inherent part of the process, making every print unique. Instead of aiming for a perfectly controlled result, the workshop invited participants to experiment and embrace the unexpected.
Across four workshops over two days, participants worked together in small groups to create designs. The designs from the different groups were then combined and printed, resulting in surprising visual combinations that emerged from the interaction between the different contributions.
At the same time, the workshops created space for people to meet and exchange ideas. Working together in small groups led to conversations, new encounters and shared discoveries.
The result was a collection of playful risograph prints full of unexpected combinations, and a hands-on experience of how letting go of control can open up new creative possibilities.
