From 9 - 20 October 2023, Make Eindhoven & Wobby.club hosted the fifth edition of the project ‘To Riso or Not’. Six young illustrators and artists spent two weeks working in the graphic workshop of Make.
In this video three participants talk about their work period: Amber Hyacinth, Jesse Fischer, Hussel Zhu.
The group was challenged to experiment with the fast risoprinter and other printing techniques available at Make Eindhoven. The mutual synergy, the confrontation with different techniques and materials in all their possible combinations, offers the participants a 'pressure cooker' in which they discover new aspects of their work, share knowledge, and develop their talent. All this under the watchful eye of Dutch artist Koen Taselaar, mentor of the work period.
