Saturday April 1 Wobby.club and De Titaan hosted Radio WobTit live from Tilt Festival, the biggest literary festival of the South of the Netherlands.
Radio WobTit was a live radio show with interviews with a.o. artist Paul Bogaers and writer Maartje Wortel, a radiocolumn by Gerjon Gijsbers (all guests of Wobby #9) and the famous Wobby Masterclass. Also live in the studio: Herman Brusselmans, De Optimist en Menno Wigman.

At last: the first English edition of Wobby!
Wobby is a Dutch Risograph printed, thematic magazine, published by Wobby.club;
Jeroen de Leijer, Marjolein Schalk (aka Studio De Leijer), Steppie Lloyd Trumpstein.
The theme of the last issue of 2016 is nasty stuff.

Wobby Wonderland

Magical Riso #2
We’re very honored and excited to be selected for the expert meeting/seminar about Risoprinting: Magical Riso #2 at the Charles Nypelslab at Van Eyck Academy Maastricht.
Riso colleagues from all over the world will give presentations.
Marjolein Schalk, one of the founders of Wobby.club will talk about zinemaking in The Netherlands.
Flip-Flop Fiësta: Wobby & T.r.a.s.h.
The night of July 23 was a memorable night. We celebrated the new Wobby issue, # 6, theme "trendy trut" at NS16 Tilburg.
Together with dance company T.r.a.s.h. we organized the Flip-Flop Fiësta. There was an interview with artist Danielle Lemaire by Jeroen de Leijer based on the cards from his book Kenjezelf Kit.
There was Trendy Trut Music by Danielle, who is also a Disk Jockey.
Dance / performance company T.r.a.s.h. performed MILK I / It used to be porn by Lucie Petrusová.
Poet Nick J. Swarth performed his work and there were hilarious, absurdistic films by Leonard Bedaux Cinema.
We witnessed the first Wobby Fashion Battle.
It was, in short, a night to be remembered.

Op zaterdag 23 juli organiseert het undergroundblad Wobby samen met dansgezelschap T.r.a.s.h. de Flip-Flop Fiësta 2016. De Flip Flop Fiësta vindt plaats op NS16, de thuisbasis van beide kunstenaarscollectieven, waar een uitgebreid programma plaats zal vinden met dans, tekenkunst, performances en meet & greets.
Wobby lanceert tijdens de Flip-Flop Fiësta de nieuwste editie van zijn Wobby-zine met als thema Trendy Trut. In Wobby #6 zijn, naast de vaste bijdrages van Jeroen de Leijer, Marjolein Schalk en Steppie Lloyd Trumpstein, gastbijdragen van Maia Matches, Danielle Lemaire, Nick J. Swarth, Roos Vlogman en Berend Vonk.
Als onderdeel van het programma gaat Jeroen de Leijer, aan de hand van zijn Kenjezelf Kit, in gesprek met Danielle Lemaire. Tevens is er Trendy Trut Muziek van diezelfde Danielle die naast begenadigd tekenaar ook Disk Jockey is. Voor deze gelegenheid heeft Danielle de truttigste trends uit haar platencollectie tevoorschijn gehaald.
Dans / performance groep T.r.a.s.h. pakt uit met de humoristische performance MILK I / It used to be porn met Lucie Petrusová.
De truttigste dichter van Tilburg, Nick J. Swarth, draagt voor uit eigen werk en er zijn filmpjes te zien van Leonard Bedaux Cinema. Je kunt op de foto met een sterke superbitch, er is een Fashion Battle en het bier is er goedkoper dan een ritje in het reuzenrad.

Stripdagen Haarlem
We had a great weekend at Stripdagen Haarlem at our Wobby.club stand. Jip Piet, Bart Schoofs and Stijn Peeters joined us and we sold work of Wobby guests Paul Faassen and Anne Stalinski. We also met a lot of other nice artists and future Wobby guests.
