Artists Miriam Reeders and Eva Meijer will hold a comfort consultation at Wobby in Tilburg on 23 April. Both Reeders and Meijer have faced serious illness and have had many conversations about illness, care, and the lack of it. At the end of 2024, they founded ‘De Vereniging ter Bevordering van de Troost’ (the Association for the Promotion of Comfort), an art project focused on attention, listening, and care—not only for those who are ill but for everyone. After all, in today’s world, we could all use some comfort.

During the consultation, Reeders and Meijer will first give a presentation on comfort. This will be followed by a conversation and a drawing exercise. The consultation is hosted by Wobby at their studio in Tilburg (close to Tilburg Central Station).
