On 15 June, a new VVV-information center called ‘Info in Tilburg’ has opened at the central train station in Tilburg, where work by local artists are sold. Besides the latest Wobby issues, there will be Wobby art prints available. We recently made new risoprints with Tilburg-based artists Ema Vaneková, Marit Biemans, Jesse Fischer, and Fedrik Vaessen. These prints are exclusively made for the ‘Info in Tilburg’ store, and won’t be available in our own webshop.
With the store, Marketing Tilburg aims to be innovative, different from all other information points in the country. They also want to work exclusively with high-quality products. Additionally, visitors are encouraged to navigate the city as much as possible digitally. With interactive screens, visitors can swipe through various options for routes, restaurants, and events, helping them find their way in Tilburg.
You select walking routes by picking up a walking shoe, using a so-called 'lift & learn' screen. You draw art from a snack wall, and the newest information point in the Netherlands features the smallest theater in Tilburg.
