Wobby is happy to be part of Cross Comix 2026 again this year!
On both days, you can find us at the Makers Market, where you can pick up the latest issues of Wobby. Wobby’s Marjolein Schalk was part of the jury for the GRID competition, which resulted in an exhibition featuring the best one-page comics of the year from Belgium and the Netherlands: Expo: GRID. There will also be a panel talk with the jury on Friday, September 11.
On the same day, Marjolein will be at Meet the Editor. Bring your portfolio and get feedback from Marjolein to help put the finishing touches on your work! On Saturday, September 12, she will host the workshop ‘Wobby’s Riso Sketchbook Workshop’.
📚 17 - 20 September - Dear Books, Art book fair during UNFAIR26 (Gashouder, Amsterdam, NL)
As part of UNFAIR26, this first edition of Dear books, brings together the work of 60 publishers and independent art book makers from around the world, selected through an open call. Here you’ll find artist publications, editions, zines, experiments, printed conversations, unlikely archives, quiet obsessions and ideas that simply insisted on becoming print. And Wobby will be there too!
⭐ 18 - 19 September - Risoprint workshops @ Festival der Mislukking (NS16, Tilburg, NL)
What happens when you let go of control? In this workshop, you’ll explore the power of imperfection through the unpredictable nature of risograph printing. Small shifts, unexpected colour overlaps and happy accidents make every print unique. Festival der Mislukking is a new, multi-day festival focused on experimentation, learning, imperfection and creativity. You can book a ticket for our workshops here for just €10.
🏠 19 - 20 September - Risoprint workshops @ Housewarming Weekend (De Nieuwe Vorst, Tilburg, NL)
Draw something festive during Wobby’s free drop-in workshop celebrating De Nieuwe Vorst’s reopening, and contribute to a series of colourful postcards made with our risoprinter. Everyone is welcome to join at any time, and the final result will be a little surprise!
